I think living on my own would go a long way to making me more normal because I wouldn't have the stigma of living at home, but my parents think I should earn my own place. I guess they're not wrong, but giving up neetdom to work 5 days a week just to barely afford rent doesn't seem worth it so I will continue living at home.

compromise and work 3 days a week, I did it for a bit and it wasn't that bad. they'd probably be open to that. I was stocking shelves and it felt like I was playing tetris and I could just spin my wheels and go on epic vyvanse-fueled rants to myself the whole time. sucked seeing so many hours of my day just disappear like that though.
